Q. I've never made hot process soap before. Is this the right course for me?

No, this course requires previous experience of making Hot Process Soap, as the basic hot process method is not taught on this course

Q. Can I use my cold process recipes to make Hot Process soap?

You can use the same base oils, but you need to add a couple of other ingredients to achieve the right consistency for your batter.

Q. Can I add milk to my soap?

You can add milk to your soap, but that subject is not covered on this course, as I want you to master getting the consistency of your batter right first to ensure successful swirling.

Q. Do I have to use melt and pour soap for my decorations?

No, you can use cold process soap, but I find that when you are only making the small amount of soap needed for your decorations melt and pour is quicker and easier to use.
